Brush Out – This stimulates the skin, removes old coat and reduces shedding.

Ear Cleaning – This will include cutting excess hair (as needed) and cleaning dirt and matter from the ears to reduce or eliminate possible odor and aid in preventing ear infections.

Pedicure – The nails will be trimmed. We use both clipping techniques as well as new nail-grinding tools. This also smoothes the nail and thus helps to prevent snags and tears on upholstery once your pet gets home. The nail filling is an extra $10.00

Trimming of sanitary area – This aids in both the appearance as well as the comfort of the animal on a day to day basis.

Massaging Bath – During the Spa visit your dog will be bathed .  We use and recommend only the finest professional products in the industry. One such product is from the South of France…Les Poochs. Undoubtedly one of the finest quality products available for the pampered pooch.  We will use skin and coat specific products to brighten the white dogs or soothe the skin on an irritated dog as needed.  All products used are human quality and exceed Veterinarian standards.  These products are also available for purchase in the Boutique for at home care.

Drying – We use a variety of drying tools to assist in maintaining a healthy coat and providing the best palette for the finishing of your pets grooming experience. We hand dry each doggy and during that process we also hand brush them. We find this very important because it stimulates the skin and promotes the natural essential oils.  It also allows the coat the to be completly and evenly dried to allow for a more consistant hand scissor trim.  Our drying process takes a bit longer than the commonly used cage dryers, but allows for a softer and more beautiful coat.

Finishing – This area will depend on the breed of your pet. Silvia is experienced in "hand-scissoring" which allows for a more natural, professional finished look. This sometimes takes a bit more time instead of using traditional clippers, but the end result is a beautiful and well-manicured pet.

Accessories – No one should leave the house without the proper accessories and neither should your pet. Depending on the breed, gender and size; we will add a seasonal bandana or hair bow. Silvia hand sews the bandanas and handmakes the bows in her spare time. This makes it an exclusive and personsal touch to your pet's day at the spa.

Price varies on the size and breed of you pet.  Please ask when booking for a price quote.  Pricing is based on regular visits.  Dogs with over-grown coats are subject to additional charges.  It takes more time to properly groom a dog that has not been to the groomer recently.

Optional services include:

SHED OUT – This is a huge customer favorite.  A great way to eliminate all the unsightly hair all over your house!  If you are experiencing shedding of coat all over the house and car, a "shave down" is not always the best option. You may wish to consider a professional SHED OUT. This removes the undercoat as well as topcoat the dog is in the process of blowing. Remember that a dog does not perspire through their skin as humans do, they pant. If you have a coated breed, it has a coat for a reason. The price for this service is nominal and varies based on the size of your pet. Prices begin at $10.00.

MEDICATED SHAMPOO - This is a wonderful treatment for all those dogs with minor skin issues such as "hot-spots", flaky skin, and rashes. This is a great idea for those dogs suffering from allergies and the bothersome Florida insects.  The shampoo is massaged into the coat and skin, it is then allowed to soak.  Following this, your pet is rinsed and a hypo-allergenic shampoo is applied.  This treatment takes an additional few minutes, but is well worth the additional $5.00 charge.

MEDICATED EAR CLEANING  – This a great treatment for dogs that are periodically challenged with ear infections.  In addition of cutting unwanted hair from the ear, we use a wonderful solution that contains Boric Acid...this is excellent at killing surface bacteria.

  NEW !!!   TEETH BRUSHING – To maintain healthy gums and aid in tartar and plaque control but this needs to be at least every four weeks. However, it cannot solve an existing condition of troublesome teeth and infected gums which should be immediately seen by a doctor. This is an up-charge of only $6.00.

BABY'S FIRST BATH – This is so important. A healthy and fun experience the first time at the groomer is essential in the long term care and grooming of your pet. We welcome your puppy at the age of eight or more weeks. Please indicate this special service to the receptionist when booking your appointment. We will also give you some follow-up homework to do with your pet at home to assist in the training of the pet.

Other Charges:

DE-MATT FEE - If your pet is matted, please note there will be an additional charge based on the rate of $15.00 per quarter hour. In an effort to not traumatize your pet, if they are severely matted discuss with us other possible options. All measures to remove any matts without cutting them out will be taken…this helps to maintain the integrity of the coat. Regular grooming of your dog will help to ensure this does not become the norm.

SPECIAL NEEDS ASSISTANCE– Please be honest…if you know that your little four legged child misbehaves at the groomer, it is important to share that with us up front.  Overwieght large dogs, senior dogs or others with physical challenges might be a candidate for SPECIAL NEEDS ASSISTANCE. As previously stated, the care and well being of your animal is very important to us. From time to time it takes two groomers to safely and effectively groom some dogs. Obviously there will be an up-charge. Knowing this up front allows us to appropriately book the appointment with two groomers. We do reserve the right to refuse service to a pet that is un-manageable and thus a potential risk to either the pet or a groomer.

*** Please note that we will ask you to provide us with written proof of current rabies vaccinations. Without this proof, we are sorry, but we will not be able to provide services that day. This is for both the safety of your pet as well as the safety of others…including your groomer! Although not required by Florida law, we also highly encourage Bordotella vaccinations  PARVO as well.  Please ask if you have any questions.
